Being a mother in our world is not easy. That is this constant scrutiny that every mother is under. As if they have to prove they are a good mother all the time. And it's not that only working women go through this pressure. The stay at home moms are also under toxic standards society decided to impose on them. Anytime a mother prioritises themselves they are frowned upon. Although we say that we live in an evolved society, people still somehow cannot fathom the fact that one can always multitask. More than that, what a lot of them fail to realise is the fact that no one can care more about a child more than their mother. The point of all of this is not to tell you what you already know. The objective of all of this is to remind you that we do live in a society that places women under a microscope. Scrutiny is going to be everywhere. Which is why you should never care about what a bunch of people think about you as a mother. Even when your brain tells you otherwise. You love your child and your doing the best you can.
