From day one, your baby is listening to you intently to eventually communicate with you
Some kids start babbling and babbling from day 1, but others need more encouragement to get their speech going. Every child develops at her own pace. But there are a few tricks that can be used to encourage speech development among babies:
A part of understanding speech is that when you speak, others respond. This encourages the baby to make sounds to see what happens.
It is very important to look at your child when you talk to them. Babies learn language by using so many senses, including sight, for babies without vision impairment. This way, babies can watch your mouth, face, and tongue work through noise-making.
This comes pretty naturally to mamas. You should sing songs to your baby, especially songs with movement. Repetition helps them learn the rhythm of language.
You can narrate everyday tasks in front of the baby like getting ready in the morning, or making lunch or dinner, as it allows the baby to listen and learn the speech patterns and speech rhythm.
